The Mistral chat entry now opens Vibe, a unified assistant for productivity and coding. The official guide says Chat and Work were merged on 22 September 2026 while retaining the chat.mistral.ai entry point.

Limitations

The rollout is progressive: Free, Pro and Teams accounts migrate first, while Enterprise administrators have a separate migration window.[1]
Temporary Chat is excluded from history and model training, but the vendor notes that legally required retention may still apply.[1]

Access and availability

Vibe is available through web and mobile, with separate coding surfaces. Existing account plans, history and settings are retained during the merged-chat rollout.[1]
